Ingredients
1 aubergine 1 tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste

Method

  1. Cut the aubergine into circular pieces.
  2. The pieces should be about an inch thick.
  3. Rub salt and turmeric on the pieces.
  4. Heat oil in a pan. Deep fry the aubergine pieces.
  5. Remove from oil and place on absorbent towel to drain excess oil.
  6. Serve hot with luchi.
