Serves 3

Ingredients
300 gm boneless chicken ½ tsp saffron
150 gm onions salt to taste
250 gm yoghurt 2 tbsp almond paste
150 gm clarified butter 2 tsp garam masala
1 tsp cumin seeds ½ tsp ground mace
2 tsp ginger-garlic paste 1 tsp cardamom
1 tsp red chilli powder 2 tbsp roasted almond flakes

Method

  1. Clean the chicken and roast it. Cut into shreds.
  2. Sauté sliced onions and add the cumin.
  3. Add the ginger garlic paste and sauté.
  4. Add the whisked yoghurt and cook for a while.
  5. Stir in the almond paste and the saffron.
  6. Add the chicken to it, adjust the seasoning.
  7. Garnish it with roasted flakes of almond.

Reduce the amount of clarified butter used. Substitute ghee partially with oil.
