Ingredients
1/2 kg maize flour 1/4 tsp. turmeric
1/4 kg wheat flour 1/4 tsp. chilli powder
4 tbsp plain yoghurt 1 1/2 tsp. oil
3 cloves garlic, grated salt and pepper to taste
4 green chillies very finely chopped oil for frying
1"piece ginger, grated

Method

  1. Mix all the ingredients and knead well to make dough.
  2. Add a little water if necessary. Divide into equal parts.
  3. Heat a griddle or a skillet and grease with few drops of oil.
  4. Roll out each ball into a medium sized chapatti, and fry till both sides are evenly browned.
